THE RELEASE OF THE 2ND EDITION OF THE SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT REPORT & DISCUSSION PANEL

What drives societal progress? How can psychology shape policies that respect cultural sensitivity and improve well-being? What role do social factors play in sustainable development?

These questions will guide an international discussion panel, bringing together researchers in psychology to explore how cultural values and historical experiences influence societal well-being. Using Japan and Norway as examples, the panel will reflect on broader patterns of social development and the challenges modern societies face in sustaining well-being.

The event will also mark the official release of the 2nd edition of the Social Development Report, offering fresh insights and recommendations based on the latest research.

The event is aimed at representatives of government bodies, policymakers, and a broad audience, including professionals, academics, and individuals passionate about social development, well-being, and cultural sensitivity.

It will explore data-driven insights for translating psychological research into policies that respect cultural diversity, address various social challenges, and promote sustainable, inclusive progress.

Join us for this essential conversation on bridging science and policy for the well-being of societies worldwide.
